I've been working on this for a few years. I only work on it in the winter when my gardens are sleeping. I'm down to the outlining. I think it's time to have my cataracts checked out. I started in on it again this winter and felt like I was cross eyed in a matter of minutes! I also have a little girl one to do. I really hate getting old!

I think you did an incredibly good job.
Maybe the feet are just a little dark in parts?

Thanks Sally, my teacher told me to fade it. It was hard to do and she said not to draw focus on them. I was tempted to make it as blurry as I could.

Thanks! Yes, it's cross-stitch. I've done several pieces over the years and always have a hard time with the outlining and details.

Beautiful Rose, I love doing that but lately I'm refrain from doing tiny things. Two of my older siblings have Macular Degeneration and I have slight case of cataract. I need to plant and eat more carrots.

I have also been diagnosed with Fuch's corneal dystrophy that will require cornea transplants to correct. I'm not looking forward to that! I'll start out with the cataract surgery and see if that helps.

Sorry to hear about that, I hope the cataract surgery works out. 2 years ago, I went to a specialist that my ophthalmologist referred me to, he injected something in me and took a baseline. When the time comes, I may have to get one. But lately, I don't drive out late at all, well not far anyway. I just stick to me and my local college for night time driving.

Sorry to hear that, Rose. You have alot of patience to do that, I'd end up getting frustrated. That is beautiful. I showed the photo you posted of the piece to my boyfriend, and he thought it was pretty amazing, also.

Ditto for me! I am truly amazed how beautiful the one of little girl is.

I had gotten a paint by numbers kit, and this was so detailed & intricate, I had to use a magnifying glass whenever I worked on this... It's about 16 x 20, but love the message it says...
