I was even thinking it could be done with bottle or can tops Smiling A small scale and easily obtainable material. I think the stone ones ones on this tread are just beautiful but drilling the multiform rock would be more than I can handle.

I'll look forward to pictures if/when you do it. As always I have great ideas but am short on implementation Rolling on the floor laughing .

Rolling on the floor laughing you and me both Marilyn!! But I really like the bottle cap idea...or something I do have, because for years I've been saving all my med bottles and tops...med bottle caps would work great for this!!!! OK, well in some distant future I may even make some - I could spray paint to look like mini rocks! Or glue sand all over them...see why I don't finish a project - it just keeps going and going! Hilarious! Whistling

I keep coming back to this thread to share. Here are a few of my latest creations.

First one is just a found rock that looks like a leaf set on a small vertical rock
Second is another rock balance
Third is a carved rock bird bath from a multi-colored beach stone set on a vertical piece of quartz
Fourth is a carved hole in a piece of granite with water stream lines carved into it placed on the side of the stream from our water feature.

Rock on.........

2nd one looks like a lady in the garden. All are really nice. There is something so great about rock
formation, natural and man made that makes a nice garden statement. Hurray!

I have contributed here before, just thought Id throw in my win!............I dwell on design, for a long time, by the time its ready to produce,, Its almost made Confused .. I work in a construction steel factory , so almost any design is possible.. One of my favourites is making 'hands &fingers' from 5/8 rods.. The head took 4 hrs of welding the hair into place.... Thank You!
