Lovely photos of the garden.

Goldenrod & the small New England asters in bloom here. The asters are behind our small barn so have to walk out to see them.

Pretty, Jo Ann.

My place is looking pretty bad. Not much left blooming, and I've been doing fall clean-up. Makes my yard look like winter time. Sad

The top 3 chrysanthemums were started from cuttings this spring using wet foam. The bottom chrysanthemum is 3 years old .

Love those mums, John. None of mines are opened yet. I am also one of those that strive to have year round blooms. I do have an advantage in that I live in California where the winters are mild.

Japanese anemones are great for fall colors. I think I have the same two varieties as you.

I love to watch the birds.
I have the same ones you do. Its the nuthatches chirping and calling in the trees in late Sept that reminds me to hang feeders.Amazing how fast they find the food.

I've enjoyed your pictures.
My garden is definitely into Fall as we had a dusting of snow yesterday,
and there is a definite frost this morning.
I am still taking plants into garage and must fill the bird feeders.

Dianne the anemones are wonderful . I do have a double pink that I will take a picture of tomorrow.

What a lovely sight. Are your anemones Honoree Joberts?
