I bet it smells lovely. Sometimes I wish we had smell-o-vision...beautiful plants.

@Willinator,

Do you know the variety of your agastache? If you do and if you'd like to post your pics in the database, here's the main (general) link of agastaches.

The Anise Hyssops Database

This is the link if you know which one it is. Click the letter above at the top and/or scroll down to find it.

If you don't know which one you have, then here's the generic link to post your pics.

Well it is a little later but I checked the tag and it came from from "The Growers Exchange"
and is identified as Anise Hyssop so I gather it is probably Agastache foeniculum

I am back with some more pictures of the blooms because I found a black bee on the blooms. Enjoy!

Willinator - I've never seen a black bee like yours. It almost looks like a beetle. I counted 9 bumble bees on my agastache yesterday. I'll try to get a photo today.

Well Teri, I like the picture which looks a lot like one of our cats. Mine's name is Snickerdoodle and he is a grey seal point siamese.

Willinator - Love Snickerdoodle's name! My blue point was named Felix found wandering in a field north of Seattle as a kitten. Lucky us! He passed away last yr at 17 & is dearly missed.

I was able to take one slighty blurry image of a bumble bee on my Agastache Blue Boa. This plant has grown huge over the yrs. It's 4.5' H x 5.5' W.

I planted my salvia Bodacious Rhythm & Blues from a pot last yr. It's close to 4' tall. Might be due to the strange spring weather.

Marilyn - I've never posted in the database so not sure which photo would be helpful to others. Can you recommend which one to use? Thank you.

Bumplbea - Thank you for the kinds words. I'm really loving this plant's color. I've stayed away from flowering perennials as I've been intimidated by them but I'm timidly entering that realm. It's all about bringing more bees into my yard.

Teruko. Bees will come if you plant the many flowers attract bees and hummers. There are several helpful sites on this forum planting for bees and YouTube videos that can get you on your way.

I've never seen a flower with that illuminates that bright color. Save your seeds you can have new starts for next season, or trade.

Teri,

The first of your two Agastache Blue Boa would be a bloom pic and the second one, an entire plant pic.

Hyssop (Agastache 'Blue Boa')

The first one of your Salvia Bodacious Rhythm & Blues, would be a bloom pic; the second one an entire plant pic and the third one another bloom pic.
