By daylily

After wrestling daylilies out of the ground, try squirting the roots all over with a strong spray of water to make dividing easier.

mistyfog said:Yes, wonderful tip. One that I will use too. Now, if I can find one of those nozzles.

Ah, it's at Lowes. I'll go soon to see if they have one in stock. Thanks for the tip.
All the nozzles we have are breaking apart.

What is the price of it at Lowe's? Is it the heavy stainless one or the lighter cheaper one?

I haven't gone shopping yet, Marilyn. I need to see it and actually feel the weight
to know. So don't know the price yet at Lowe's. Just that it was listed on the
manufacturer's website as a place that carried that brand.

The outside/inside work has been calling my name lately.

Thanks Shirlee! I tip my hat to you.

Maybe I can make a trip to our Lowe's soon and look for it. Thumbs up

I have not had any problems with it at all. Maybe they make them differently now?

I just went and read a few reviews. Seems the first few left it out in freezing temps, causing internal parts to freeze and break.

I must say, I do not use this nozzle for everything. I use it for spraying daylilies.

It does not have an "instant" on/off, you have to twist it to turn off. I prefer, for everyday hose use, to be able to turn the water on and off by pulling a trigger, or squeeze-type handle. Most of the time, I use a simple on/off hose end, with a Dramm Water Wand connected.

I don't leave my hoses out in freezing weather. They are drained and stored in the garage.
