Unknown Ground Cover

This is an unknown ground cover I've grown for many years. Unfortunately I cannot identify the genus or cultivar. It was labeled as "Pulmonaria, lungwort" when I planted it; and I have ignored it all this time. There is no match for it in the data base so I refer to it as a NOID ground cover. It blooms beginning about the first week in August and lasts through the end of the month with myriads of baby blue flowers. Leaves are a pleasing solid medium green. I feel it is worthy of banner status even though unidentified. But I leave that decision to the moderator.

This is the photo the banner was taken from on August 14th. If one looks closely there are a few sprigs of peppermint invading the bed from a nearby planting. They are harmless since they are easily pulled out and discarded. Plants are still in full bloom as of today, September 4, 2020.

Leon,

Beautiful banner and pics. Thank you for posting the full size pics.

I grew Plumbago one year, but I didn't have the space for it and if I grow it again, I'd plant it into a container. Love the blue flowers and the reddish fall color of the leaves.
Welcome to the Agastache and Salvias Forum!
