This came up in one of my pots and I thought it was some type of lily as it had strap-like leaves. It finally sent up a stem and I was surprised to see this! Could someone please identify this plant? Thanks so much.

Can you provide a photo with open flowers? The whole plant reminds me of Kangaroo Paws but I can't find any with that flower type.

I was thinking it looked like 2 different plants.

Sorry, but I can't furnish a picture of the flowers. I will tell you that I planted an Asiatic lily in the pot last year, however, the lily didn't come back this year, but this appeared this year. I thought perhaps it was something that was in the pot with the lily. I'm not too familiar with weeds in FL but it is baffling.
