The green afghan is a very simple pattern. I have others a bit more
complicated, but haven't taken them out to photograph yet.

One nice thing about making afghans is that one can get warm
while working on them, after they get to a certain size, of course.
Good winter projects.

Some are crocheted, and some are knitted.

I have an afghan my grandmother crocheted for me as a wedding gift in 1985. Love it because it reminds me of her, but it is an open form and doesn't keep one warm in and of itself. Works pretty well if a sheet or duvet cover or something is underneath it.
