Thanks Debra,

The green afghan is a very simple pattern. I have others a bit more
complicated, but haven't taken them out to photograph yet.

One nice thing about making afghans is that one can get warm
while working on them, after they get to a certain size, of course.
Good winter projects.

Some are crocheted, and some are knitted.

I have an afghan my grandmother crocheted for me as a wedding gift in 1985. Love it because it reminds me of her, but it is an open form and doesn't keep one warm in and of itself. Works pretty well if a sheet or duvet cover or something is underneath it.

Thinking of garden art also as "art that enhances a garden" I thought I would post this. It is just part of a long list of photos that slide-show on my computer desktop and happened to come up tonight. It is from the Westin Pasadena - a more formal, and commercial, garden.
