I read on one of the threads that if you put ice on the peonies in warmer climates they will bloom. You could give it a try.

I think I am giving up on the Peonies. I bought 10 dinnerplate Dahlias for next year. Some get 5 feet tall and the flowers are as big as my head!!!

Yes, you do have to dig them but I am learning and I will have these year after year. Join us on our new Dahlia Forum if you want to know more.

The lily is Eyeliner

This was my 'Eyeliner" Planted it right at the front door so I would see it everyday it was in bloom.

I'ts so clean and neat.I just love it.Another large flowered lily is Canova and Richmond.If you are fans of Eyeliner give those a look see.

I like B&D for lilies. I have been doing business with them since their catalog featured their daughter as a 4 year old.She would appear every year on the cover in a row of lilies.

I will go ahead and order a few before they sell out. I already have a bunch I need to plant, not to mention Pariot Tulips and Daffs. I ordered Caladiums and Dahlias for spring and they are spectacular, I can't wait to see these bloom. Thanks for the recommendation!
