Hi, all. I bought this begonia at Lowe's yesterday. It's from Costa Farms with no ID whatsoever. I tried checking their website. No luck.

Anyone know its name? TIA.

you might try matching it to one currently shown on their website.
Plant it and they will come.

Thanks. It is an 'angelwing'. There are hundreds of them. I was hoping for the variety/cultivar name if possible.
I'll mark it solved when I find out.

They are very hard to ID since there are many that look alike. I just checked their site too and it looks like it may not be something they are currently selling or featuring so something older.
It may be easier to narrow down once they bloom, you can include photos of that here when it does along with additional leaf closeups, both front and backs. I have some that are quite red on the backs.

Thanks. I'll probably have to do that. If I don't kill it first. Crossing Fingers!

Should I just leave it unsolved? Maybe a possibility someone will know? Confused

That's a beautiful one Sally, a 1992 Brad Thompson intro. Now to see if Kyle's blooms bright pink and it could be a contender! Thumbs up

I didn't find much about them out there Kartuz greenhouse has a picture, that other plant site has a couple pix and just one comment

I wonder, if Costa Farms happens upon a deal in these or some other begonia, they may just grow and send out a bunch and not bother showing every cultivar on their website.

Risky business, browsing a site like Steve's Leaves and looking at dozens of pictures of gorgeous plants Blinking
Plant it and they will come.

Yes, it is! Found 'Benigo', a begonia I used to have. Gotta have it! Hilarious!
