I got this as a surprise extra in a plant swap by mail. There is no ID.

The stem makes me think it is an aroid, most likely a type of philodendron.

Any ideas?

@plantladylin Lin, thank you! Some of the representative pictures include a good look of the stem and it's a match. You are awesome. Big Grin

You are very welcome. I grow a few Aglaonema and I had that green one for many years. It grew to be quite large but when we moved a few years ago, that plant along with a few others got placed on the side of the house in an area that wasn't visible and unfortunately they were forgotten while we were trying to get settled and they all died. Besides the Aglaonema, I also lost a large Christmas Cactus and a fairly large Ric Rac Orchid Cactus. Crying

I'm so sorry to hear that. Both Chinese Evergreens and Christmas Cactus seem to be difficult for me to keep alive. I'd be devastated if I lost ones that I'd finally gotten to a good size.
