It is a Juniper. The ones I consider 'creeping' stay flat on the ground. The photo shows a Juniper with a taller than creeper profile. But, they will root on any branch touching the ground so in that sense, yes, creeping. Smiling

How tall is it? It looks too short to be a savin juniper, and the coarse growth and growth pattern is not like a savin, either.

It has the look of Tamarix Juniper, J. sabiniana 'Tamarixifolia'. We sold craploads of them in the nurseries I worked in.

Yes, could be Tamarix juniper (Juniperus sabina 'Tamarixifolia'). This is very different from a species savin juniper, which it is NOT:

Stefan, it looks like you posted a pic of Tamarixifolia. Why didn't you post a link, or at least the name for verification?

The savin juniper is absolutely not as coarse OR as short as the tamarix juniper.

The height of the juniper is about 1 -1.5 meters tall in the centre and covers a large area, if that helps with pinpointing its variety
