Yes, could be Tamarix juniper (Juniperus sabina 'Tamarixifolia'). This is very different from a species savin juniper, which it is NOT:

Stefan, it looks like you posted a pic of Tamarixifolia. Why didn't you post a link, or at least the name for verification?

The savin juniper is absolutely not as coarse OR as short as the tamarix juniper.
