It's from a brand called Fresh Idea Flowers in Modesto, CA. The tag didn't have any information on what type of plant it is or what care it needs. Each leaf has 5-7 points, no flower buds from what I can see... I put some water in its pot, the bottom has no drain- not sure if that's fine or not!

Yes, Hedera. Interesting with all those lobes.

Surely too many lobes to be Hedera.
Veins very obvious as well.
Might it be baby Fatsia japonica?

I agree that it's Aralia japonica or Fatsia japonica. They grow terminal of bright white clusters of flowers. I have a variegated one planted outside. It's a lovely shade plant. And could grow up to 6-10'. It will do great in a pot on a porch in summer. Easy care once established .

The pot does need to have drain holes.
