I would like to know if this iris is a dark purple toned or a brown toned flower. Most of the pictures I have found on the internet show it is more of a dark purple toned color.

I don't grow it, if you hover your mouse over the thumbprint in the entry, or enlarge the image, the caption shows that this image came from Blue J Iris.
Another I submitted came from Napa Iris and I also took a couple shots when I visited Napa.
Blue J photos are notorious for wrong hues in their photos, mostly too yellow.
I would definitely say the purple ones are accurate.

Excuse me for sticking my nose in, but this is a gorgeous Iris (I checked out the other database photos)!
