We're experiencing a drought at the moment and upper 80⁰ heat. Today's a little cool down and I'm about to water. Most things Re blooming out fast. This bloom season is so late. Yikes!

One Man's Art blooming all season but doesn't hold up great to the Charlotte heat.

Keith's iris are doing extremely well in your garden Gabe! I too am having iris finally blooming after years.

Beautiful shots!

Why are your LA's so short? After all the rain mine are all over 4 feet. Black Widow just bloomed at over 5 feet. Blinking Of course mine have been sitting in the same patch for quite awhile.

Can't compete with Gabe's beauty today but I can introduce you to a spanking new Burseen iris. It checks all the boxes - has a pansy face pattern, great stalks, blooms that stay open without fade for over a week each, and a nice spicy sweet scent. And yes the standards stayed closed in our heat spells. And to think this was a bonus iris!

Have a few more that are popping out now too!

Like Gabe - the weather in my garden has caused everything to open in large bunches (18 different iris yesterday alone!). So I am behind as always.

A few more littles (and they still have more not yet opened).

Chanted was pretty this year.

Kermit IB has a green cast that photographs more tan. The shade shot catches some of it. Only IB I have that blooms every single year.

@Cuzzforshort Love the color on Cajun Copper Baby. Have you noticed how sold out all the LA vendors are already this year? Wonder if they were short on stock or if there is a boom in people growing them.
