Look what came in the mail today!

What's That (left) and Midnight Oil . First time I've ordered from Brian White Nurseries in Tennessee. Plants are very nice and the packaging was perfect. Not a single damaged leaf.

That's an interesting hosta. How long does the color on the edge of the leaf last?

This is the 3rd year in the ground, so I'm not completely sure, this should be a good season for evaluation. It came out several years ago and than the supplier had virus issues and withdrew it for quite awhile.

The picotee on Aquamarine is interesting. I am also interested on how that one progresses.
Rose, those are nice looking plants from Brian White Nurseries. I am partial to deep green hostas like Midnight Oil.

Nice plants. Your gardens are ahead of mine, but mine are, at least up far enough that I can walk in the garden w/o stepping on them and some are unfurled. Unfortunately, some also got frozen a week or so ago and I did a lot of trimming on 'Korean Snow'. Hopefully we are in the clear now - I left my tomatoes outside last night for the first time, but the May long weekend (on or before the 24th) is generally regarded as a safe time to plant.

Our local weatherman said that yesterday morning was the last morning to protect our plants from the chilly temps. Left my annuals out last night. The temp was 42• when I got up this morning Grumbling

I meant to add to Loretta that NJBob may well be right about the hosta she was concerned about. I didn't see anything really wrong with it, but key would be knowing what it's supposed to look like. I recommend taking regular pictures of her plants and editing them to include the name (or a garden name or number if you don't know the name) and the date so that you have a record of what is going on in your garden. I know those pictures are valuable in making an ID, and I've also diagnosed problems that I hadn't seen in a garden view.

This was my 'Rainforest Sunrise' shortly after it emerged a few years ago.

Thank you Ann and Bob, I am pretty satisfied with that ID, and I am not concerned anymore. I didn't remember it being so puckered before, but the coloring looks good. Ann, I have given up labeling since the birds like to use them for their nests. I do put them there to begin with. I used to keep spreadsheets but I always change things around, so I just use photos now.
Aquamarine has very nice legs, RJ!
Bob, you also have some nice selections. The streaked ones are interesting.
