This Hosta has grown. I like the white in the middle.
I had a wrong name so I won't repeat it.

First Blush, starting to show some color, divided this one last year, great grower. Really like Warpaint, if you don't catch it at the right time you miss the color change

What do you think? I'll post more as it matures, but mine does seem to have some ruffled edges and more white in the center...

Dick I was going to ask how your Ice Age Trail was doing , looks great.
RJ I agree First Blush is a very good grower , I did move mine to get more sun to see if I can get color this year.
Rose you have a nice War Paint , that is one that really struggles for me.

Bob, what sort of light does your warpaint get? Mine is in full morning sun until 11am

My 'First Blush' was new last year. At this stage, it's not quite unfurled, but I'm wondering when I should be seeing reddish colour.

Of 236 hostas only 1 has not yet shown up and that, 'Choko Nishiki' (aka 'On Stage') is always the last to show up in my garden; so I'm not concerned. Have been dividing a few for plant sales and will try to take another round of pictures today.

I have long been a fan of hostas and had a few planted several years ago. Only one came up the next year and now the shade tree is gone.

I have begun a new garden in what I hope will be a shady enough area.. There will be 8 common varieties to start. My neighbor will put up a shade sail for me to give them a better chance even though the area only gets morning sun. Sunlight here is harsh.

Looking through the photos was fun because I recognized so many varieties as ones I've admired in the past. If this garden succeeds Wrinkle in Time will be on my list as well as Whee!

So many gorgeous hostas, it makes your head spin!
Rose, that Emerald Necklace has an interesting form. Does is round out or does it stay squiggly? It would make an interesting edging.

Great Expectations. I have it for many years. It is a slow grower but so are others I have like 'June'.

Loretta,
I'm not sure about the shape of the leaf. The leaves change to solid green later in the season.

I especially like Brother Stephan, I need to see if I can find it.
Here is Risky Business, I gave it a bit of my worm compost and it seems to take off. You can see the stick next to it, that was where Blue Boy Phlox was planted and it was devoured.

This is a Hosta I have for 4-5 years at least, not sure what variety, but I moved it last year to this location and it seems to do well.
