Getting a Canon Powershot SX420. It's wifi-enabled and per reviews, very clear on zoom shots. Purchasing it specifically for the daylilies. Get's very frustrating to take multiple pictures with camera phone, and more times than not, doesn't look near as nice as in reality.

First i would like to say. What a beautiful start to bloom season. Here in our part of Alabama we still have no blooms, but the scapes are coming more and more everyday. Some have color.

There are too many to name all that i think are great, but Jobe that seedling on page 6 is also worthy. Im getting anxious for ours to start popping out.
So keep posting while we are still waiting.

Well, the bud burst open this morning on 'Orange Blossom Trail' and 'Orange Spice'. I love them both.



Also, making an appearance this morning is, 'Heavenly Bengal Tiger'



And a repeat from yesterday, today she's much better, 'Seminole Wind'

Another thunder storm rolled through this morning just in time to mess up the bloom before I could get pictures. Many of the blooms just turned to mush, here are a few survivors.
LADY DRAGON: First bloom ever here in my garden, and it stood up to the storm just fine with her big bloom.

SPACECOAST THE GREAT DIVIDE: This one is new this year, just happy to see it bloom.

MISTER LUCKY: This is not a big bloom and it has good substance so it took the weather like a champ.

SPARKS ONE HOT MAMA: Chilled off with the rain.

COLOSSUS: I noticed yesterday that this was about to bloom, really looking forward to it, but the rain dampened my enthusiasm.
