It keeps feeling like rain here, but then doesn't, watering again tomorrow :D

It isn't likely to rain here again until November, but we can always hope. I feel positively giddy when I can take a day off from watering. The weather here is heavenly, but we pay for it dearly when the water bill arrives.

Our weather changed wonderfully yesterday! Just low to mid 80's and very cool breezy winds! And continues on today!

Amazing cool-down in progress. It's 57 degrees here, shortly before noon, and it rained (!) last night. I'm taking a vacation from watering.

Ohh love it to rain!! Alas.. No rain here yet for now..but it does feel like it wants to rain..ah, but still cool and breezy! I'll cherish it!

You all are lucky! Although I guess we are in for some cooler temps too! I like the warmth, its my babies that I worry about! If they were older I'd be fine, but they're just little guys! Glad ya'll are having joyful weather!

I complained about our heat to my SO currently sweltering in OR, where it went up to 100 or so. And she's spent time in India and Singapore, where 100 F isn't unusual.

Needless to say, she's still razzing me about thinking that 80 or even 90 is "hot".

I lived in India eons ago. Due to deforestation, pollution and inadequate environmental education and conservation, the heat levels have risen dangerously. Summer typically begins in April. However, during a visit a couple of years ago, I could feel the heat wave in early February. During the peak of summer, temperatures reach 120 degrees (and above) during the day and hover between 85-90 degrees in the night.

I know for sure that if I visited India, I would melt right down into a puddle.
