I just thought of something that would be nice; when someone types in the search, for instance 'daylily', from there it would be nice to have that link at the top 'Search and Browse Actions' so they can use the 'ยป Browse the full list of daylilies' to get to the alphabetical listing.

The link you're talking about is present on the homepage of the Daylilies database.

If you search for "Daylilies" you are taken to that database.

There are numerous ways to get there and for neatness sake, and to not confuse people, I'd rather keep all the custom browse/search tools confined to the front page of each custom database, and then perhaps widen the ability for people to find their way to that front page.

OK.
But "If you search for "Daylilies" you are taken to that database" why does it not work if you search with just the singular 'daylily'?

Because "daylilies" is the nickname for the custom database.

Each custom database is given (by me) a nickname that forms the URL. If you search for the nickname you are directed directly in the right direction which leads directly to the front page of that database.

How to give multiple nicknames? It's something I have in my "long term wish list".
