I lied, just one more, I can't help it!

And last, I do love variegated plants but am not too fond of it on roses. My Sally Holmes developed a bad case of it after just a smattering of leaves her and there the past few years developed Rose Mosaic Virus. I finally got tired of it when the majority of the leaves had it and replaced it last fall with a Polka rose. While RMV does not kill a plant outright, reports say that it will eventually weaken it and produce fewer bloom.
As I left the rose garden this afternoon, I noticed that their Sally Holmes had it as bad as mine did.

Oh boy, oh boy! I don't know what to say: Each photo is better than the one before. Your photos of Easy Does It still make me want a long hedge of them somewhere.

It is a visual feast, Sue! Your Photos of Lynn Anderson and Dream Come True are among the best I've seen of those roses. Bravo! And what a great study of Eureka.

When I saw Lynn Anerson at the municipal garden at SJ, it was one of the few roses that obviously suffered from fungal disease, and I thought, "If this rose cannot grow here, where can it grow." It has since disappeared from a number of distribution channels. I wonder, how did the plant look when you saw it?

I'm delighted to see the study of Teasing Georgia because I replaced Graham Thomas with that rose.

Steve, the Lynn Anderson roses actually looked pretty good right now and this garden does not use chemicals as far as I know. Reading the HMF comments though, it seems it's not too popular with at least 2 gardeners.
I do love going to these public gardens as it really shows how the whole plant can look as the years progress.
