Can anyone i.d. this daylily for me ?

edit: I just had " Dreamcatcher" on the tag and nothing came up in the DL database. I'd left out "Spacecoast Dreamcatcher"

problem solved!

Hmm. Neither picture is great, but it's a melon-peachy color. But yours also has the paler stripe down the middle of the petals.
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Ethel Shepherd')

Seaside Scallop is similar to Ethel Shepherd, but it's a different cultivar. It was hybridized by the owners of the now-closed Seaside Daylily Farm. They just didn't register it, but they sold it for many years.

I noticed that a garden center on Martha's Vineyard was still selling Seaside Scallop a couple of years ago. It's a beauty and definitely does better in the (normally) cooler climate of New England.

So...my garden-named Sedgefield Buff Beauty bloomed like this today! All of the blooms look like this...on multiple scapes with blooms scars...so it's not a different plant in the pot or something. Thinking Thumb of 2021-07-01/MrKGDickie/16686b
This is what it usually looks like...hence the garden name we use for it.Thumb of 2021-07-01/MrKGDickie/dd81a0
This is curious, given that most other of my other daylily blooms look "washed out" due to the dry conditions.

You may have to change the garden name to Hot Flashes if it goes from pink to red when it gets hot. Is the change in shape constant, aswell (recurved to erect, like the ears of a dog who heard you open his food)?

Today marks the first time it's looked like this. I hadn't even noticed the change in shape, but you're completely correct. I'm checking with the friend from whom I got it, to see if she's seen the same.

Maybe anyone here has an idea about the name of this tiny one?

Color is similar to Everybody loves earnest, but it seems to be a little bit bigger (about 3 to 3.25 in.) - it has many buds/heavy branching and it's not a seedling (got it from a friend who lost the tag).

I finally have something to contribute here.
At the start of 2020 I had 1 daylily, a NoID (possibly one of the 'Candy' series, perhaps Strawberry Candy). Came with the house.
Thumb of 2021-07-02/plasko20/4f223a
Knowing nothing about daylilies at the time I purchased another one, sold in a box, and apparently imported from Holland. Only cost $3.99
This red one was going to be part of a housewarming gift for someone I know. But then Covid lockdown came and I had to plant it in my own garden to keep it alive. It has a dark eye I tried to show here, but my camera is no good at showing it up. Both just flowered yesterday. I am finally visiting those folks tomorrow so I may dig it up and hand it over, along with the rest of their gift. But we are having lots of rain and I am unsure about tramping round in the mud.

Today, I have almost 80 daylilies, including my seedlings. Quite an increase in a short time. So I will not miss the red mystery NoID from a box (no cultivar name on the box - I checked).

Looks like the one I just posted on this thread! LOL. I was guessing Strawberry Candy for mine e.g.

I h, on the other hand, have 100s of NOIDS, because for many years, I would just plant them then promptly forget what they were. I did remember a bunch of them ( incorrectly in a few cases) but I only started being meticulous last summer. Also things got moved around and divided last year. I have lists of things I bought but many of them don't have a lot of photographic coverage here so I can't be sure. Anyway, I'm going to start posting them as they come up. Maybe something will ring a bell for someone! These are all FFO today.

I had this pot labelled "Mystery Daylily" and "unknown color."Thumb of 2021-07-03/MrKGDickie/32b0f3
Based on the wording, it's a cultivar I've had for years that hasn't bloomed in a while. I THINK I separated it out from a pot of Frans Hals because its foliage was so different.

I think it's Rocket City, based on the fact that RC the only orange I had for the longest time (other than H. fulva). Here's a 2019 pic of my Rocket City:

Looks like the same flower to me, Ken! Rocket City seems to have a somewhat variable form although the color stays similar.

I've ID'd three of my previous NOIDS by looking at my maps. Sometimes you just have to scout around.

You're Breaking My Heart, Pat Ball#09-049, so named because in September (9/49) of 1949, the number one song on American Radio was You're Breaking My Heart, sung by Vic Damone. Although, interestingly, the tune was originally a famous Italian song by Leoncavallo, a popular Opera composer.

I LIKE that one!

The little red-brown unnamed seedling I got as a bonus from Smokey's bloomed again. I'm fascinated by the color, and I love the gold wire edge. If it reblooms, I'm going to move it to a spot with earlier afternoon shade and see how it likes that.

I bought this one as Siloam Little Girl. It's not that or any other Siloam I can find but it sure looks like one.
