I tip my hat to you. Another six days to go then for me. Lets see how many chickens hatch.
Greg see if you can find a flagon made of clear glass used for acids. Junk or scrap. 20 or 40 liter size will do. Grow your Semps in there but do fit circulation to keep humidity down. It is reverse for succulents.
Regards,
Arif.

Kate those are really coming along, and there are so many of them.
I agree that you should wait until they have more size to them. I would think right now their little roots would be way to delicate.

Good luck for your seeds Arif, I'm still getting the odd new one pop up, so I think that germination time can very quite widely.

Thanks Lynn, that confirms my thoughts.

Arif, could you show us a photo of how you planted your semp seeds?
I am back home now, and would really like to see how each of you planted your semp seeds.
Pia & Kate gave us awesome photos of how she started hers. Seeing what each of you did to get them started will help me decide how to start mine when the time comes. Thumbs up

I was so tempted to say I planted the seeds Feb. 20th, but them I got control of myself. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
They actually germinated out in my beds last year. I found them early summer, so tiny I almost didn't see them. Not sure how many I may have cleaned out of the beds before I realized they were little specks of baby semps.
They sure grow slow. Sticking tongue out
