Ohh that is the no ID small succulents that look similar to Will's succulents. I'm waiting for it to grow, maybe someone can ID it? They were almost dead when I got them snd now just putting out leaves. Crossing Fingers!

It's the time of the year again that I'm getting ready to repot and rejuvenate my succulent planters and my succulent garden. I miss the look of my succulents garden early in spring to fall. Right now, my succulent garden is bare (sad looking) after I uprooted my succulents to protect them from winter frost.

On a good news, the succulent planter I gave my non-plant friend (the grey bowl in the top picture) is looking great! She just sent me a picture of what it looks like today. She said she followed my instruction to "just ignore it".

This is not done yet, still need to buy some top dressing stones but I saw this in you tube and wanted to give it a try. Only issue is these are California Sunset, which are fast growing succulents.

@purpleinopp another one for you to try 😂

Adorable!! Such a cute idea. If the CA sunset grows too fast, consider finding/using a Sedeveria next time. Those are some of my smallest succulents. Most of the ones I have were found @ L's.

Here it is! Hopefully we can enjoy it for a few months.

I included 3 sedeveria baby offsets so I can compare how slow growing these are compared to the California Sunset.

Try Sedeveria 'blue elf'. Quite compact blue-red rosettes, never getting more than 1.5 inches.

They are great to use on any holiday table scape.
I use them all the time. At Amazon…I think they would be a great accent for you and your daughter to implement into your some of your designs.
I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.”

Bea! I love it! I actually have these for my miniature Christmas decors but I like your idea of adding them as light plants. Hurray!

I got to dig them up as I put my holiday decors away already!

So glad you have them… they can be used in table scapes too. Succulents are not just for admiring but can make great table scapes especially when dining alfresco. There are so many beautiful cacti/succulents that will work , not just flowers…
A table set for any occasion many plants make a lovely addition.

Thank you for the acorn… Hurray!

Yes, I'm so glad I rescued them from clearance while I could. They are full price now!

Unless you buy them in bulk! Check out this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VMCGJX9/

The batteries look like they are 50 or 60 cents apiece to replace (but lo and behold, batteries are included!)... they're only good fro 48 hours (continuous), but there's an on/off switch.

Hmm. On my Amazon wish list!
