I'm sending you money, Julia.

I'm afraid that's it for me. I hope everyone else is satisfied with the outcome.

I have not heard anything since July 28th when I sent pictures of Orange Tiger lilies that I received instead of the better ones I
ordered. I even gave him a list of what I did not receive Sad Oh well I could not replace the ones I received wrong or did not
get being out of work. I hope this gets resolved one day Shrug!

How could anyone be satisfied with the outcome of this co-op? I am very disappointed with it and the way that it has been shoved over to facebook and not handled here. Many people do not have facebook. I have no problem with my order or at least not anything that I would post here but a lot of folks spent a lot of money on plants that they did not get. I am afraid that this type of stuff will affect the future of co-ops here at ATP and that is not right. I do understand that Mike had things happen that were out of his control but you do not jump ship if you are the captain, you must wait until everyone is heard from.

Also agree with Patti. He can keep my money, obviously he needs it more than me, but did he receive plants? Where are they? And where is he? He's not answering emails or facebook messages. I'm done with him, not with every co-op.

I just messaged mike on FB to buy 10 NOID plumeria cutting and got a reply. He is working with friends and had to pawn his computer. His only access is his Iphone and I know how hard it it to try to read emails or even come on here with a smart phone.

I do understand the frustration but Mike is a great guy. He has had his whole world crumble and to have to pawn your computer is as far down as one can go. I am not asking you all to just forget your money or orders but if you haven't ever hit a very hard deep bottom then you can't imagine. I can. My husband went from 55,000 a year down to 12,000 a year and now that he is gone I am on SSD. I went to from almost unlimited money to spend on plants and anything to buying very little. I use to say hey if that junker won't go faster park it to a junker that wouldn't go 55 miles an hour.

As for tiger lilies the wrong color I or others would have been happy to give you something for them plus postage instead of you composting them. Oh well I am probably fanning the flames instead of quenching them any at all.

I understand the frustration and wish I could help but saying hurtful words doesn't help Mike make money to fix this any faster. Also you can see his Facebook without having one. Maybe there is something he has you would like. I only wish I lived closer to him to help him sell whatever he has.

sheryl you are a true angel. I tip my hat to you.

Thanks Group hug The economy today is a really rough place for alot of people. No jobs to be had by so many and job losses, hours cut, obamacare killing small business. I send huge hugs to all of you. I pray Mike recovers very soon. I also read he and his SO of 10 yrs have parted ways. Wow all of this and a broken heart also. I could never comprehend what he must be feeling.

I am not sure how to go about this but would love to have a raffle for some bulbs to raise money to atleast try to pay back those owed by mike. I am offering 5 Byzantine glad bulbs for 1 prize and they are valued or sell on the internet for 14.50 each. 2nd prize would be for a bag of I believe 50 (will check for sure) daffodil bulbs some are as big around as a 6oz. coffee cup I bought the bag of them for 17.00 at Lowes. And another prize would be for 18 red lycoris bulbs valued around $1.50 each. I will offer tickets on here if anyone thinks I would be allowed, on my Facebook, around my area and anyone whom would like to help could. I am not sure of the details except the 1st second and third prize unless someone has a plant or 2 to donate plus the shipping it would cost to get to the winners. I think 1 dollar a ticket or 6 for 5 dollars.

I need some ideas on if anyone thinks this could work. It is a gardening related so I think I could do it here. I live an hour and a half from Smockette another member and I have known her from DG for over 9 yrs. I would have her draw the winners. All I am hoping is to raise enough money to help Mike pay back for his co-op.

For those whom have not been paid back I will need you to come up with a list of plants you didn't receive and the amounts...like a copy of your paypal receipt and a list of what you had coming. This is going to be a job on your part to gather the info needed as he was hacked from spreadsheets to his email. But I am sure most of you can find what is needed for a refund. I wish I could just do the honor system but like co-ops of old people do tend to come out of the wood work for free money. In the event not enough tickets are sold I will do my best to take care of the ones who lost the larger amounts.

If you think this can work lmk and if you think it won't lmk. It is the only thing I can think of to help and it is garden related which is related to ATP's. Send me a message on here or post here.

Raffles for money is a tough one. I wouldn't do it without talking to an attorney and making sure I'm not running afoul of any gambling laws. I like the spirit of what you want to do but I think that's not the way.
