Acorn offer has been closed, so if you missed it, go to their website for the free (just pay shipping) sample!

I agree it is still worth it to have to pay for $5 free shipping if you missed the free offer with 100 acorns, if you want to try first before buying a big size. They also have weekly contests where you submit a photo of the result of your Agro-Thrive and you could win free fertilizer.

Update: (Sadly this one didn't make it), I transferred to a different pot, thinking it will do better, but it rotted.
Thumb of 2021-08-27/GigiPlumeria/b49cbc
The spider mites would not stop attacking the seedlings on these pots and without healthy leaves 2 rotted.
Thumb of 2021-08-27/GigiPlumeria/d9d9eb
So I had to remove unhealthy chewed up leaves of the other seedlings and they are in rehab with general purpose Agro-Thrive. Without leaves these 1 month adeniums have 5% chance.

Thumb of 2021-09-13/GigiPlumeria/5aa7d1

I have to declare the Agro-Thrive the winner versus the Miracle Gro. When I repotted the adeniums from the green pots to the clay pots, the roots were not robust and just a few days after repotting the caudex of one continued to deteriorate looks very dehydrated, which means it is not accepting water. So I have to give it a general purpose Agro-Thrive today to see if it will help it plump back up.

The 2 in the front are the Miracle Gro with 3 weeks headstart have smaller leaves and the 2 tall ones with lots of leaves are Agro-Thrive
Thumb of 2021-09-13/GigiPlumeria/191779

9/13- Shows severe dehydration - first application general purpose Agro-Thrive
Thumb of 2021-09-13/GigiPlumeria/724bb0

First application 8/28: see how dehydrated the caudex is, with dimple on it, meaning it is not taking any water.
Thumb of 2021-09-06/GigiPlumeria/442031

Update 9/13: This is now definitely coming back from severe dehydration and growing healthy new leaves.

Thanks for posting the conclusion to your AgroThrive vs Miracle Gro experiment! I really appreciate your effort not just with the experimentation but also with posting the photos as you went along.

Holding onto mine to use with seedlings, although I may break it out for a couple of houseplants that got too dry.. Whistling

Hey, it's a small data set, but you have the photos to back up your conclusion. That's at least a good enough start to warrant continuing to use it. I'm saying "wow" also!

I'm hoping other people will check in here with their impressions.

A bit too much though. This is not 64 ounces. This is actually "64 makes 64 gallons" each is a 1 gallon size and winter is just around the corner. Rolling on the floor laughing

Hope this will keep until spring. I have to check for expiration date.

From their website:

"AgroThrive products' shelf life is 8 years and running. We tested samples of various ages, ranging from 0-8 years old and found that there was no significant soil functionality difference. From the physical shelf life aspect, the samples do sediment which can be easily resuspended by shaking before use."

Thank You! @Hamwild. Good to know I don't have to rush and over feed my plants.

I repotted in a smaller pot on Sunday with 40% sand and perlite (that is all I have). I watered it once (mixed with hydrogen peroxide).

If this will recover it will have a bruise, I accidentally scraped its skin. I'm not going to worry about it for now. Sand and perlite is moist. Hopefully it will not rot. The caudex seems dehydrated.

Update: 9/25/2021 (less than a month from initial application!) I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.
I am giving credit where credit is due! Thank You! "general purpose" Agro-Thrive for saving my beautiful desert rose. Hurray! Hurray! There are roots coming out the bottom now that I had to put this inside a bigger pot to allow root growth without repotting until spring next year!

And the tips (look at the second picture) I cut from this desert rose is successfully grafted and growing too on another "general purpose" Agro-thrive rootstock:

GigiPlumeria said:Oh I do have one extra that is not part of my adenium Agro-thrive challenge. Over a month ago, my husband came home with a hanging orchid pot with an orchid that died from crown rot. Our friend thought I could revive a dead orchid Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing . But when I looked the roots seemed to be healthy but the orchid was dead and for few weeks there was no signs of life. So whenever I have left over, "general purpose" Agro-thrive, I just pour it on this "dead orchid".

Look closely, this might be a wishful thinking, but there is a baby shoot coming out. Now I have to buy orchid bark to see if it will survive. Whistling

Update: surprisingly healthy roots, removed dead stuff, cleaned and soaked with hydrogen peroxide and water for a few minutes.

New look, soaked the entire pot and bark with mixture of general purpose Agro-Thrive and rainwater. Giving it 10% survival rate.

Update Oct 10: I'm starting to be optimistic that this is going to make it!

Closer inspection shows the new growth has a new healthy root. Makes me feel bad about all the orchids I tossed over the years thinking they are not going to be revived.

My arms are having a hard time pouring just enough Agro-Thrive I need to use and shaking that 1 gallon is heavier than I thought. It was a good thing I saved the sample size bottle instead of tossing it. (My hack.)

Thumb of 2021-10-10/GigiPlumeria/ddbb51

I only need to shake the big gallon when I am feeding the big plants. But I can use the smaller one when feeding my seedlings.

To bad they don't bottle it in a container like this, where you can squeeze it into the pouring spout

Also, not sure if this is just a fluke but I started using "fruit and flower" Agro-Thrive to my blooming adeniums. I noticed that the seedpods are the biggest and healthiest I've seen them this year.

Thank you Agro-Thrive for helping my 10+ years old adenium "Sweetie Pie" recover. She is special because she is a Mother's Day gift. I almost lost her to root rot last June 2021. I had to cut it almost half the original height, so there were no roots below the caudex. She was only relying on aerial roots for survival and I had been feeding her "general purpose" Agro-Thrive.

Can't wait when this will be full of blooms!
I repotted her into a shallow fancy pot and since beginning of spring I switched to "Flower and Fruit".

July 29 - first applied Agro-Thrive:
