Tarev, Are you treating the Tulips as annuals, or you going to try to keep them ? I think you get more chill in the winter, but you also get more rain. I have grown Tulips and Crocus here, but they won't tolorate out mild, wet (sometimes) winters, and even as annuals, they are often short and stunted.

To be honest, I do not know yet if I will try to rebloom them for next season. We do get chillier here, and it is just good that it was drier this winter. Just wanted to see how far along these bubs will go. That was the initial reason for the delay in my planting of the greater majority of the bulbs, I was worried about the rains. So I will play it by the ear for now.

My tulips and muscari still doing okay, a couple of early tulip blooms had started to fade, some still holding on, with one particular red bloom towering over the rest. And the other tulips on the smaller containers are just continuing to come out, so hopefully I will get more soon.
Camassia bulbs and muscari bulbs in this container growing good..hoping to see the camassia soon!

First batch of tulips that bloomed has said its adieu..so just a few left, and trying to do a catch up..well it was a nice experience to grow them..really beautiful..maybe I will try again next year, now that I understand better the cooling requirement.
But I am still waiting for the camassia to make some blooms..this one is taking a bit longer from the rest...hopefully today's April showers will be good for it.
