The color palette of Vito is more in the range of green to orange, whereas CC goes from green to dark blue with red highlights, depending on sun exposure.

The surface texture on Vito is mostly made up of short raised lines, almost like fragmented corduroy, and it's pretty dense. The texture on CC is sparser, closer to dots than lines.

The margins of CC are red (at least given strong light) and relatively intact on the lower half or third, with some resolution into teeth above that. The margins of Vito are orange (in strong light) and do not stand out so sharply from the rest of the leaf.

There are other hybrids resembling these two plants. Corduroy has raised lines like Vito, but more densely packed on a different shaped leaf. Christmas Sleigh has the same color pattern as CC but fewer surface bumps and margins with bigger, better resolved teeth.
