Anyone know the differance in these: Lemon Ball, Lemon Coral, Lemon Curl?

I saw Lemon ball at Hdepot today, but don't know the others - so guess that's a "no" from me sorry

Sedum mexicanum Lemon Ball (aka: S. reflexum 'Lemon Coral')

And I am thinking that S. Lemon Curl is the same plant as S. 'Lemon Ball'.

Thanks Lynn! I already have some then, since I had some from a friend who thinks its "Lemon coral" and it did look like what HDepot had today (well yesterday now I guess!)

I have lemon coral and have made starts, so it's the same as lemon ball and lemon curl. Why do they do that, name it three different things?

It can sure get confusing to say the least. Greg I have to head out to work, would you remind me to do more research on this sedum?

Okay, here is what I found. S. 'Lemon Ball' is the correct name but is also sold as S. 'Lemon Coral'.

I am not finding any information for S. lineare 'Lemon Curl'. Will research it further. But this one would have a totally different leaf from a rupestre type sedum.

Yes, we cross posted up above. I changed the specie type to mexicanum from rupestre. The database also shows it being sold as S. 'Lemon Coral'.

Funny too if you put this in different parts of your yard and they end up looking differently, you'd never have known!

No, I think it is just a mix up in spelling the names. It happens a lot, and is easy to do.

Lynn there is another mystery here...seems mexicanum looks more like sedums found in china than in mexico, so the origin is unclear, just thought I'd share!

Yes, I did see that. But it appears there may be some difference in the stem structure.
I guess I will just have to order one of each, grow them in identical conditions, side by side, and take notes.

Guess what I have lemon coral so I was at lowes today and they had lemon ball. I bought it to do just that.
