Most of the grade schools in my area now have the kids wearing a "uniform" of kahkis and a polo shirt in burgandy or blue. This takes the dress stress off of the parents but they're required to buy the clothing. However there are stores in the area that sell the pants and tops at super reasonable prices so I guess this "uniform" isn't such a bad idea. The high school crowd can wear what they want with some restrictions. No graphic tees, nothing revealing[or too short or too tight], no spaghetti straps on girls clothing. I see less and less of the jockey shorts spilling over the waist bands of the guys jeans-thank God! When that was the rage all I could think of was "please pull up your pants! I don't want to see your butt!"
