I rooted 1 cutting on September 10. It's almost 2 months but I don't see any new growth. Its neither growing nor rotting. What do you suggest? Should I remove it and check

Hilarious! Welcome! to my world of propagating by cuttings. Best is to just leave it alone. That way you don't disrupt any baby roots.

Some of mine were rooted during the active growing season but no luck.

I think Aashna can grow them
year round. Am I right @Aashna?

I guess yes. We don't get winters. Temperature will not go below 19+20 even in December.

Last year I didn't keep a check about plant going dormant. I don't remember it shedding leaves .
As Wildbloomers suggested , sometimes plants don't shed leaves in dormancy . He suggested to keep a check on new growth which I didn't know.

Yes branches are harder to root. I am trying the suggestion to plant it on a dry dirt. Then moist only not wet.

And more over a thick branch. Thicker than pencil.

This is a cutting that has calloused (with roots starting to emerge) but was not really growing any leaves even if planted in the dirt. I transferred it to a semi-hydro (lecca and water). It seems to be responding well and has developed new leaves.

If successful, I will transfer this to dirt in spring so it can grow better and be root trained.

Adeniums are prone to root rot, by growing it in water you may need to monitor closely on the possible root rot, if you see something bad, immediately take it out and let it air dry again
If they look healthy, do nothing

Will do. I should have clarified. I don't let the water sit for a long time. I drain it and treat it like orchids. Moist but not soaking wet.

I successfully rooted the above cutting . Large roots are growing. I will keep it on same set up to see if it will bloom in spring.

I got bored and gave Triple Santa Claus and other adeniums a haircut. Letting the cuttings callous and getting them ready to be rooted indoors and planted in pots in spring.
Will these root or will these rot? That is the question!

Something about the sand. Make sure it's silica sand. This can be tested by putting vinegar on it. If it fizzes, it's not silica sand, and shouldn't be used.

These are rooting using leca only. I have also used paver sands. But I rotted some still using sand Crying

You might want to try sterilizing that sand. It has some rot bacteria sometimes. After doing experiments, I find it's best to root in a sterile medium

I tossed the sand along with the rotted cuttings. I'm encouraged that my indoor cuttings are doing great! I could see the roots starting to reach the bottom of the water bottle.
