Loving the late blooms everyone. @daylilly99 - Pat, in regards to your question about Lilyobsession on the LA. So far I got three plants from him this season. Solar Sweet was two fans. Regal Sensation was at least six fans and Tonto's Expanding Headband was six fan clump.
Crazy cold weather this year - several frosty nights since beginning of October - today I have cut the last three scapes: 2 of Flying Early (one ugly open flower) and one of a very special near white one:
Theese are looking much better now - I've several different colors:

They will. I have knocked over scapes by accident--sometimes with a bunch of unopened buds. They open in water over the next several days without fail.
I'll be testing that this year. I have so many scapes but we have to be getting Frost soon. I'm leaving them out as long as I can in the hopes of getting a good
show inside. They sure aren't opening outside too well ( today, anyway). Too cold, too wet.
Zoia, I love your last set of pictures. The fallen leaves with daylilies blooming is like a picture paradox. What a treat it must be to have daylilies blooming this late in the year.
May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown
Thanks to all, I know, I'm somewhat bemused myself. I never expected to have Daylilies this late. And there are all kinds of new scapes coming in…crazy!

Looking good Zoia and Dave. Only Genesta and Bitsy are blooming in my garden. Forties for highs and lows thirties for lows are coming next week. Hello November !
I have tons of unbloomed scapes, I'm trying to let them develop as much as I can before I have to bring them in. I'm keeping an eagle eye for frost…this is very weird for me, traditionally one of the last things blooming is Sandra Elizabeth.
