Hi, I got this cutting from an online seller, and I was wondering if it's German Empress? It looks different from other pictures I've found online. Thanks.

Not sure how you posted that picture but when I click on it it shrinks!
I would like a bigger pic but what I can see does not look like German empress
A plant of German empress that size would have developed black spots on the foliage by now A genetic disorder.
A lot of growers don't grow it because of that, myself included.

Thanks Steve. I wish I could get a closer and clearer photo but I could only find one bad quality one, the one I posted. I tried to post the ones from the sellers listing but I couldn't Thumbs down I didn't know German Empress had a genetic disorder. Thanks for telling me that. I guess I should have done more research and looked at more photos before I bought it.

Thank you Carol. Even though the leaves develop spots, the flowers are stunning. I have ackermannii and its hybrid. I also have a no ID one.
