If they're rare I'll bet they go fast.

I tried for Montana Moonshine for $75.00. It said there was one left. By the time I got to shipping info they were sold out!

Montana Moonshine would have gotten me if it was still there.

Has anyone bought any Hosta from Brecks. They have a Hosta called Siberian Tiger Hosta. From what I read someone in Europe has figured out how to TC Amime Tashi and it is renamed for marketing . Amime Tashi used to sell for a high price I think well over 100 so should be a good deal if they have decent plants.

The address is the same for Breck's bulbs as for the Breck's catalog I get in the mail. I haven't bought from them for years and only did once. It is long enough ago they I don't remember the exact circumstance but I do remember that I determined I would never order from them again. It looks like on Garden Watchdog the positives and the negatives are pretty close so I guess it depends on whether you think it is worth the gamble.

I found it when I downloaded the list. I like Ruby Pearls (I think that was the name).
Thanks!

I looked but I already ordered from New Hampshire Hosta because he found me a couple of Emerald Ruff Cut when I emailed them before He had the catalog up. They got enough of my business because of that I won't be ordering anything else. I did order Firefox Palm Sunday from In The Country Garden and Gifts when they had their sale so I'm done ordering hosta for this year. I'm not sure where I'm even going to put the ones I ordered, they'll probably mostly go into containers.

Susie, Do you keep a lot of Hostas in containers?

I do some, Rj, especially smaller ones until they get bigger, and then put them in plastic containers and bury the containers in the ground and mulch them with leaves in the fall. That has worked pretty well for me. The heat and dryness last summer was very hard on some of my bigger ones even though I watered. Before I noticed, because of all the watering I had to do in all the gardens, I didn't keep as close of eye as I normally do, and Dream Queen was gone and I had to pot up Ocean Isle, Stained Glass, and Frozen Margarita because they were shrinking to almost nothing. Stained Glass and Frozen Margarita took off again in the pots but Ocean Isle was still struggling so I'll have to see how it did when I dig the pots up in the spring.

Thanks, I've pretty much have ran out of room and have thinking of trying containerized hostas, plus don't have the vole problem.

Good luck with them still almost 5 months for any new plants here. You did get some nice ones.
