I saw Mason Hollow posted that their new 2022 list is up on their website. Did they take over Naylor creek? I noticed a lot of Naylor creek Hostas on their site.

Saw that Mason Hollow had Sir Prize much cheaper then In the Country so think I will go for it. It has been awhile since I have gotten plants from them , but from what I remember they were pretty nice.
Not sure how they could take over Naylor since they are East coast and Naylor was West coast. I guess they could have bought the inventory.

I had a variegated NoID generate some "bee" seeds this year so I thought I would try growing some from seed. Crossing Fingers! At first I didn't succeed in sprouting them laying on a damp paper towel in a ziplock in the closet [following some advice in this forum Thank You! ]...nothing after two weeks when I checked. Confused So, I folded the towel over and when I checked after Christmas, another few days, I had about 10 with rudimentary roots and leaves. So I saved the 9 most advanced...4 growing in yogurt cups and 5 growing in a large butter tub all in seed starter. Amazingly the leaves are greening up and I haven't killed any yet. nodding

I almost placed an order early on with NH Hosta but I hesitated and the one I was most interested in sold out - Jade Cascade. The other hosta I am interested in is Midnight Oil. In any case, since I lost most of my shade, I am going to skip a year and see what happens to the hostas I have.

Here are the new ones for 2022 from The Hosta Store.com
https://hostas-store.com/produ...

I saw the new ones from In The Country Garden sold out very fast today , when I looked at a quarter after 8 they were all sold out.

Thanks, Rose, for the heads up, just not seeing anything that excites me this year.

Thanks for the heads up. They have better prices than a lot of other sites I've looked at. Might have to spend my allowance...

I may order some that I've lost. His prices are really reasonable and he sends huge plants.

Have not ordered much myself this year. I am taking a chance with the Siberian Tiger from Brecks. And ordered Sir Prize , Goodness Gracious and The Sweetest Thing from Mason Hollow. I am not on Facebook , has anybody seen if Land of Giant is going to be open this year?

I've ordered daylilies from them before but not Hostas. The daylilies were big with several fans and did very well but I've pretty much ordered all that I'm going to for perennial plants this year. After last summers drought, I'm a little nervous about getting too much new to take care of.

@NJBob

I haven't seen any news about Land of the Giants. With the inventory that they had, I'm assuming there's something in the works. Did you get your Fickle Blue Genes from them last year?

My Giantland Aftershock was really small. I just sunk the pot in the ground for the winter. Hopefully it will survive.

I was going to ask you this Spring if Aftershock made it.
