Driving around looking at lights sounds like it will be a good time Ginny.

Not a good night for driving up here. The low was 9 shortly after midnight before it started going up. Around 6am the temp was 17 and it was raining. Needless to say it froze on contact. Mid morning it turned to sleet, then later snow when the temp finally reached 20. A little backwards but it made everything a lot less slippery to walk on. Temps is 25 now and it's misting out.

Sounds like a good night to sit by a fire, Char. 🎄🎄

Good morning, weather friends! Little bit of snow here, melted already as the temps hit 39. Going down to 31 overnight.

Still here, not much different. They have been working on fixing the calcium piece of the puzzle with supplements, so that I can take care of it myself outside of the hospital. Looks like there might be good progress there. Tomorrow will finally bring a few changes. I don't even want to list them yet, just in case it's delayed. Crossing my fingers, but feeling better overall.

We recently bought new phones, too. I (again) bought a specific phone instruction manual called "Samsung S21 For Dummies" paper back book. They publish many versions, you buy the one made for your model phone. I bought ours on line. We read one chapter after dinner each night. They go over features you may not have known existed. Easy to understand.

Now would be a good time to study the functions of the thyroid gland. Amazing! I had no idea it was such a key feature of the human body, and(!), how responsive (the remaining thyroid gland) is to medications.

Yesterday's weather was a bit iffy, but luckily the worst of the freezing rain 🥶 missed us. The temperature hovered just below the freezing mark and there was very light freezing drizzle off and on. There wasn't much accumulation, though. The road crews did a great job of keeping the roads salted and sanded, so the driving was fine for our Christmas outing.

Today is cloudy and mild with a temperature of 29 F or -2 C.

Grandson told us today we're going to be great grandparents again Due in July. This would be their second.
