I saw a news video about issues with canned cat food supply.

I certainly saw that here in my area, I thought for awhile was it just bad timing when we went to our local Petsmart. That was the first time ever I saw several shelves empty of cat food.

It is getting harder to get timely shipments from Amazon too, and prices have tripled at times.

Thankfully I found another cat treat that my furry babies like..they used to prefer only lil soup..this time they really love delectables.

I am glad these three cats also like to drink water, so if I just put out dry food, it is okay, they know to drink water properly too.

Last time I went shopping I saw they had a limit on canned cat food. I think it was 10 cans. If you had only 1 cat I guess it would be ok but if you have a few it could be an issue.
I know Mopps prescription canned dog food has not been in stock . Only 1 place on Amazon had it and were asking over 100 dollars for 12 cans. Almost triple reg. price.

Our boys won't eat canned food, only dry. #2 likes some raw vegetables, and watermelon is a favorite. He really like fresh scallops but about the only time he gets those is when we bring them back after a trip to Maine.

I've not seen any limit on canned cat food here…. yet. I do buy canned cat food because a few of my inside cats like it and I started giving Harley a can because she was pregnant. Harley still gets a can, I think the extra boost helps her with the cold weather. Some of my indoor cats prefer dry, and Googie doesn't like canned cat food at all, nor does she like people food! For her it's all about the dry food.

Cleaned the fish tank today , always forget what a big job it is.

Brought Dixie's ashes home today. Took a kalanchoe to my favorite tech who is off this week. The staff at the front desk tried to talk me into bringing it back next week so they didn't kill it...lol...told them it would be fine which led to a discussion about plants and greenhouses. Good deal...no tears. Went to walmart...also good deal no tears. When I got home texted neighbor and invited her over for a beer or wine...asked if granddog, Bella, could come too. Said yes. That sweet rambunctious baby chased the tears right outta me...good deal. So tomorrow begins another day in the next chapter. I miss Dixie so very much 😥💔 but this too will get better with time.

I haven't seen a limit on canned cat food here but have noticed the shortage. My cats eat both wet and dry so I stock up when I see it.

I've not had trouble getting kitty food, but our clowder gets Taste of the Wild dry. Petsmart has it down here, but it's $3 a bag cheaper at Tractor Supply. Back home I get it at Farm & Fleet, and it's about the same price as TSC. They aren't finicky, so I get whatever they have in stock of that brand.

Mopps had his eye checkup today and all is looking good , plus 1 less eye drop a day.
