I audited every line of the swap software yesterday and ran it through some tests and I feel pretty confident that it'll work out fine. In fact, I improved a lot of areas of it that I think will make it even more reliable than in the past. Having said that, I haven't tested it in the "real world" yet so tonight will be the first test since the re-write. Hopefully everything works well but as always, if there are problems I will do what I can to mitigate them.

I have one more hint for newbies. When an item I have wishlisted gets claimed/has 0 quantity, I mark it as 1 star. Sometimes people will add additional packs later in the swap. Peruse those 1 star items every now and again and you might just get lucky!

23 different people made 173 dibs so far and the dibbing is slowing down. It looks to me like everything went perfectly, so I'm going to head out for a break for the evening. If there were any issues, missing tickets, missed dibs, etc, please post the details here and I'll look at them when I return.

That was fun! It went smooth as silk, even though I didn't figure out how to reorganize my choices. I can't wait to do it again. Same time tomorrow?

Thanks, @Jess and @Dave and everyone else who participated.

I'm new to seed swapping and winter sowing, and deer not knowing what they're not supposed to be eating in my garden. Having moved away from the city and retired recently, I'm enjoying spending so much time in the garden. I'm learning so much about natives, pollinators, medicinals, and growing more veggies than ever.

Go to your wishlist, ot lists everything by number of stars & then alphabetically. Change the number of stars on the items, then refresh your screen.

Now that the first night's dibbing is over, most of us will go to our wishlist & move our top choices to 5 stars, then second choices to 4 stars.

I added another pack of the pelleted Petunia Aphrodite Salmon if that was still on anyone's radar. Also added Vigna caracalla and Parlor Palm (Chamadorea elegans). I'm adding as a sow, lol.

Also, I can probably come up with another packet of the Red variegated Gossypium if there is more interest.

@poisondartfrog I would love it if you came up with more Red variegated Gossypium! I was a little sad when I realized I missed that one. Lol.

I actually realized this morning I did not add any of the paw paw or buckeyes onto my list. But I wasent sure if anyone here was interested In those. I didn't see any on wishlist. So if anyone is interested give me a hollor!

I also found more Bunny tails in my overflow box so i added another pack of those as well. It showed more then 1 person had them wishlisted

This is a great swap so far! I love these swap. So easy! I made a fb group for garden chit chat. If you're on there, I would love for you to join. It's like ten members strong, lol.

Aprilard1 -- I love the name of your group! My gardens look drunk because I don't really have a plan. I see a spot where I can put one in, and there it goes! Someday I hope to have a plan, but for now I'm replacing non-natives that don't make it with natives and other must-have favorites.

I'm not sure if my garden qualifies as "drunk". I don't have hops, and if I leave the fruit to fall and ferment, the deer will get smashed.
