I didn't see a section for Southeastern or mid Southeastern or for North Carolina for that matter, so here I am! Hurray! I haven't been able to have a garden for a few years. Sad but now I live where I can! Smiling I am so excited to have beautiful flowers all around and fresh veggies to eat! I am sort of "teaching" my new family about gardening and I realise I am a bit out of practice! Shrug! I have found numerous sites to help, but the best advice comes from tried and true advice from real live humans.... Hilarious! Anyway, I am looking forward to chatting or posting with some of you all and maybe learning something new. You CAN teach and "old dog" new tricks! Rolling on the floor laughing Until I return to this forum, you all have fun getting your gardens ready! Whistling

I tip my hat to you. Glad to have you on ATP, Brenda. You will not only learn lots of neat "growing" tips here but meet a lot of really nice people. I am a tropical plant hobbiest, though I grow vegetables year-round as well. Check out my small, cottage-business website, www.tropicalplantsandmore.com and tell me what I can do to improve it. Advice is always appreciated. Ken

Hi Brenda,
It is nice to chat with other gardeners, that way I don't have to force my husband to talk about gardening. lol
