Thanks guys I was pretty pleased with the find. There is a shop called Refindings not too far away. Started out as an Architectural Warehouse all kinds of old building supplies doors, windows, wrought iron, now it has all kinds of things besides the bowl I picked up a metal wall hanging of shore birds. Just need to find a nice piece of drift wood to use with it and I will have it up on the wall in no time.

These are 4 containers I bought at the dollar store, then put in a few semps. A friend of mine called needing center pieces for the food bank fund raiser. I'm going to advertise my plant sale as well as donate plants. I always have an over run of plants growing in the greenhouse so I have a little sale. They will be auctioning this off during the luncheon. Anyway I was trying to think of something witty to say on a card that would motive people to bid on the pot. Any ideas??? Some of you are so creative with words

I'm pretty brain dead at the moment but maybe some play on the meaning of the Latin sempervivum meaning "live forever". That's about all I can handle for now . A lot of people who don't know about semps couldn't possibly understand all our silly semp dictionary stuff.

OK... something about "Hens in a Pot" might be kind of food related, if you get my drift.

Does not have to be food related. I was thinking going on vacation then a sempervivum is a container for you. They like it dry and then some plant care instructions. Connie sorry Hate that when your brain feels fried.

I like Marilyn's "Semp dips" but sadly my brain feels fried today too! I'll continue thinking though!!
