I initially thought this is a female monarch but this one is a male after all. In the earlier photo the dots didn't show up yet. Here it is when we released to our garden, the 2 dots are now visible.

These would probably be better shared in the Gardening for Butterflies, Birds and Bees forum rather than added the the plant database. They are getting thumbs up because everyone enjoys them but they shouldn't be bumped up within the database with a potential of becoming the main thumbnail photo.

Hi Sue, I didn't know there is a forum for it. Yes please feel free to move it.

They are database images, I can't move them to a forum thread, I can only delete them. You would have to start a new thread or join in on an existing thread. There is a running thread called '2022 Butterflies, Moths and Larva' that you can add these images to.

Please delete them, I was able to find the thread and posted there.
