The plant that I received today (Priceless Liberty) was purchased from Yenok on the LA. I was really pleased with the quality of plant that I received. The plants were shipped on Friday and arrived on Tuesday in excellent condition. I was expecting small fans but they were almost as nice as those from Guy Pierce. Since I only bought one plant I was pleased that he included a nice bonus plant (Looking Good).

Congrats on your first new plants to arrive! I do find it fun opening up the box and being very surprised at how big the fan is.

I can't wait when mine start coming in! Not only the daylilies but the various coleus I ordered from Rosy Dawn Nursery.

I'm a little embarrassed to post this picture after the beautiful Floyd Cove order above. This is from Amador Flower Farm in California. The foliage is pretty awful-looking, but the roots are good.

I ordered from them last fall, and the plants looked just the same--maybe because they come from such a distance. They give good service, though. Last fall two of the plants succumbed to crown rot, and they replaced them immediately, no questions asked. All the plants from last fall are lush and beautiful now, so I took a chance and ordered from them again. They have a lot of older cultivars I had been looking for.

Based on your previous experience with Amador and the fact that you got these so early, I'm pretty sure you'll end up being delighted with them later in the spring. Congrats!

Beautiful order, Larry G. - seems like you can't go wrong with Floyd Cove plants. I just got mine potted up and I'm absolutely delighted with each of them!

You are right. They are already starting to green up. I think they will be fine.

I just got my first ones in from Yenok Daylilies via the Lily Auction!

I bought Peacock Kaleidoscope and Epizootic and I was sent two bonus daylilies - Burst into Bloom and Hedonist. I'm very happy!


Peacock Kaleidoscope - this is the only photo I have seen of it. I'm buying it for the name mostly so I won't be too disappointed if it isn't this vibrant, but I hope it is close.


Same for Epizootic there is only one photo of this flower I could find:

However Hedonist has a few photos here and it looks really nice!
