This iris looks gorgeous in the sun, a very colorful variety! Beards in the center are always lavender, only very light.

So can beards be different colors ?

Yes, yellow, orange, bronze, white, pale blue just to name a few. Some blend in to the bloom color, some are large and very striking against the blooms.

The large extent of the fluffy beards are light lilac-blue, and the base of the beard is orange.
