LOL, Mona, I took those pictures this morning. It is cloudy and they are all closed up now!

Backyard tulips. The ones in Front are Emperors and the rest in back are my greigii tulips.


This is my daylily plateu, the raised bed in the backyard. The red tulips are my COME BACK tulips that I brought from Brent& Beckies because they are a strong returner darwin type. The yellows more in front are JENNY early tulips.

The darwins I took pictures of this morning before the clouds came in.

Nope, not going to fool me. We didn't need snow for the tulips. Just some cold weather. I still hate the snow.

I keep thinking I'll have something appropriate to say but your photos just keep stunning me into speechlessness Rita. All I can think of is how one can rarely ever capture the true breadth & beauty of it with a camera & so I imagine what it would be like standing there looking at all that beauty. It has to take ones breath away!

Last night the darwins were all closed up due to the clouds. They look just as coloful as open, only different.

I think that is a very good picture to show what the backyard really looks like. You really can see it is upstairs cause of the house in the picture. Then you can see the layout of the garden. The daylily beds with the tall bearded iris bed in the middle.
