I've had this plant a while now, it was root bound when I bought it however I did put it in a much bigger pot to allow the root more space. It's leaves are shrivelled and the branches are brown. Can anyone help? ):

Hard to say but I think a Hedera helix- common ivy - in one of many pretty variegated fancy leaf styles.
The dead-ness of the plant is a diagnostic clue to houseplant Hedera helix, in my experience Hilarious!
It might recover but they do not seem to tolerate most in-house situations.
Plant it and they will come.

Is that a Hydrangea? ( I see opposite leaves). If yes, it will prefer outside situation, moist soil, and it might shoots from the base if the basal still alive

yes it's a hydrangea, I'll try pop it outdoors. Does it need more watering outside or just once a week?

Watering will depends on the situation, we should keep the soil moist not wet and not dry. They donot like dry or wet feet. so watch the soil condition. It really depend on your condition. I live in tropical climate with high humidity and rain are almost constant at least every three days. So I do not even water my plant, unless it has not been rain for week, ( it happens sometimes in dry season). but if your climate is hit or dry, they will need watering, pay attention on the soil, no strict schedule.
if the base of that hydrangea is still viable it have chance to regrow.. so good luck, hope you got the best gardening time.

Oops, it is opposite, so forget Ivy!
Plant it and they will come.

Not sure what that is or what I'd do.

Leaves won't recover and are past the threshold of providing energy for the plant into taking from it, in my opinion.

New growth is your best bet, but the 3rd stem from the left already seems to be going south up top, unless it's the lighting.

I'd either cut it back and provide it a bit of light and moisture, or toss it.

I would toss it and start again. You're asking a lot for a plant to recover from that amount of stress, and it could take a very long time.

Hi & welcome! This plant looks dead to me, past the point of any recovery. Many plants make great potted specimens for inside, but Hydrangea is not among them. If there was something in particular that attracted you to this plant, the members here could suggest similar-looking alternatives.
