Getting caught up here, lots of gorgeous photos!
Just wanted to make a comment that they are technically in So. Calif, about 170 miles north of Los Angeles. Green Grin!

Hilarious! and to me, anything south of Monterey/Big Sur is So. Calif. In this map, they are between Pismo Beach and Santa Barbara.
I am in No. Calif. west of where it says Sonoma. Thumbs up

I don't think I ever realized LA was so far south, honestly. But it's not like I ever get there, either. Burbank once on a business trip, LaPalma once on a business trip, and lots of business trips to Alameda in a previous job, with one side-jaunt to Sacramento. Oh, and we had a conference in San Diego one time, and got to have dinner catered at the zoo, but that's pretty much it for my CA trips.

That's quite a list, Zoia! Velvet Eyes is so dramatic... love it!

I've gained a few and lost a few Stamile daylilies since my original post in 2013. Currently I have 16, which is like a drop in the bucket compared to all they have introduced, lol.

My very favorites (at this time!) are:

Ruby Spider - still a favorite after all these years.

I don't have much of a collection compared to some of you, but some of my favorites are Stamile daylilies.

Cosmopolitan, a great performer for me:

Blueberry Candy, which was in my top three until it got rust:

I have four more that I planted in the fall and have not bloomed for me yet: Omomuki, Passion for Red, Rainbow Candy, and Walter Kennedy.

At least 50% of the time someone bumps up a thread that's more than two or three years old, I end up giving thumbs to the old, original posts before I figure it out. Smiling

But I like when posts get bumped, especially the ATP series ones. We could probably bump up one of the ATP series every quarter or month, just so we don't lose that link and respect to the past.

I have a few Stamile plants that I don't think were mentioned, yet.

Northport - My picture doesn't do it justice.

Chang Dynasty, which I really like because it reblooms in the fall in my zone 5 garden in most years.

and Let Loose, which gives you a large bloom, spidery look early on in the season.
Thumb of 2022-01-29/Lyshack/e75cf5

And then, maybe this doesn't belong here, but it's a tribute to Grace Stamile from Pauline Henry that I really enjoy every summer:
