I've finally contributed TWENTY images to the database!

I know, it's nothing compared to the thousands that some of us have contributed, but for me, who only uses images I've taken, of plants in my yard, it's a nice number.

As spring continues to green up around here, I'm hoping to work my way up to thirty images .

And they are all beautiful pictures!

I agree with everyone else ... you may have uploaded only 20 images so far but they are fabulous! I love your bloom photo of Butterfly Bush'Honeycomb' with the Swallowtail and you've gotten some really great shots of leaves too ... and that flower of the Franklin tree is so pretty!

Keep up the good work ... every single entry (image, comment, proposal etc.) just makes the database even better!

That butterfly shot is one of my faves. And the Franklinia is one of my fave trees. It's bloomed for me 3 years in a row, now. When it first bloomed, I emailed the folks who sold it to me, and they said most ppl who buy it can't even keep one alive for 2 years, let alone get a bloom. I kind of puffed up with pride when I read that. Now, it's only had one bloom each year, but anything I plant lives in a state of benign neglect. I might add some compost around it this year, but that's about all I do with my plants once they're in the ground (daylilies are becoming an exception to that rule)

they emailed back and told me they needed a hand-signed release form, v. the electronically signed one I sent them, but I never heard anything else after sending it to them. Not sure when the decisions are made/announced. (doing my best to forget about it, honestly -- less stress that way)

It's a beautiful shot Mary! And I am also really partial to any green throated blooms so this is an especially stunning daylily!

It's been a good week for photography in my yard (fringe benefit of twisting my knee so I can't do yard work, I guess?)... Anyway, if I've kept track properly, I might be up to 30 images now.

OK, it took me eighteen months to reach 20 photos in the database. Then in only four days I added another 10. I love spring! (this assumes my pending pic gets approved)
