That butterfly shot is one of my faves. And the Franklinia is one of my fave trees. It's bloomed for me 3 years in a row, now. When it first bloomed, I emailed the folks who sold it to me, and they said most ppl who buy it can't even keep one alive for 2 years, let alone get a bloom. I kind of puffed up with pride when I read that. Hilarious! Now, it's only had one bloom each year, but anything I plant lives in a state of benign neglect. I might add some compost around it this year, but that's about all I do with my plants once they're in the ground (daylilies are becoming an exception to that rule)
