I finally caved yesterday and ordered one. I stumbled on 'Swan and Dragon' from Logee's and couldn't resist this one. With temps getting colder, I figured time to do it now before risking it dying from the cold during shipping.

Glad to see I'm not the only one spending! Odd that you got last one if they claimed so many in stock. Usually it's "only 1 left" to get people to order, not the opposite.

Once you do, upload a photo in the database, then add it to your plant list. This way, you can look back at the database later on to track its progress. I am remiss lately but aside from taking photos of just the blooms, I also like to take a yearly photo of the entire plant to monitor their progress.

And not yet, I just ordered it 2 days ago, and it doesn't look like it was shipped yet from their order status.

I keep my photos well organized (and backed up) on my hard drives and use lightroom, so I have plenty before and after comparisons. But I'm very anxious to see what it looks like when it gets here. And the above one if I cave again...

it is 99.9% certain that if you post a photo here of those beautiful desert roses, we will encourage you to get it. I truly enjoy my desert roses now more than any plants in my collection.

Unfortunately my house has no indoor space. Hubby and I agreed that outdoors for plants and indoors are for people and garage is for cars. so I will somehow have to keep praying this hurricane will spare us and my pots will not be blown all over my neighborhood.

But surely there's a brief exception to the rules during a hurricane? You can always tell him what it would cost to replace them as incentive...
